The cupboard features a chemically resistant internal chamber made of polypropylene and has been developed to withstand the aggressive conditions that may occur when working with strong acids. <\/p>\n<p>The exhaust connection is made of polypropylene, while the metal components are coated with technical-grade Teflon, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and are therefore black in appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The worktop can be made of polypropylene, epoxy, or ceramic. When working with strong acids, polypropylene, epoxy, or ceramic is recommended, with ceramic being the most suitable option. <\/p>\n<p>The front sash is made of toughened safety glass and is suspended from the top by wire. The fume cupboard is not equipped with temperature monitoring. <\/p>\n<p>It is recommended that the fume cupboard be supplied at a fixed height, as an adjustable-height solution places greater demands on the flexibility of the ductwork, which must be highly resistant to chemicals.<\/p>\n<p>The fume cupboard can be supplied with Teflon-coated fittings as required.<\/p>\n<p>The fume cupboard can be certified in accordance with EN 14175-7, which covers the testing and certification of acid fume cupboards.
