Fume cupboard Zafe 81 AC HH

Zafe 81 AC HH is an acid fume cupboard designed for working with strong acids and high temperatures. The fume cupboard features an internal chamber made of polypropylene and is equipped with a ceramic heat shield above the worktop, which protects the chamber from heat radiation.

The exhaust connection is made of polypropylene, while the metal components are coated with technical-grade Teflon, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and are therefore black in appearance.

The worktop is made of ceramic, which is well suited for applications involving both strong acids and high temperatures.

The front sash is made of toughened safety glass and is suspended from the top by wire. The fume cupboard is equipped with temperature monitoring.

For processes involving high temperatures, the sash must remain closed throughout the entire process. The fume cupboard is equipped with boosted airflow at 1,500 m³/h, ensuring effective ventilation and removal of fumes. The boosted airflow must remain active throughout the entire process.

It is recommended that the fume cupboard be supplied at a fixed height, as an adjustable-height solution places greater demands on the flexibility of the ductwork, which must be highly resistant to chemicals.

Fittings can be supplied with a Teflon coating as required and should always be rinsed after boiling.

The fume cupboard is subject to EN 14175 Part 7 if certification is required. In addition, in Denmark, the fume cupboard must undergo a tracer gas test in accordance with DS 457 before it is put into operation.

It is recommended that the fume cupboard be inspected and serviced at intervals of 3–6 months, depending on usage.
