DNV Gødstrup Hospital
From 2019 to 2022, we have helped to set up the Gødstrup Regional Hospital, which is Central and West Jutland’s new large hospital.
DNV is a total of 148,000 m2 and we have supplied furniture for a large part of this including the 5,000 m2 for NIDO Denmark, centre for research and education.
There are 409 single patient rooms in Gødstrup hospital each with their own bathroom, and for many of these we have supplied tall cabinets and mirrors. In some wards there was a requirement for easier access / greater safety for patients with disabilities, therefore support handles were fitted to assist with access from the bedroom to the bathroom.
We delivered special furniture to various departments, including the Children and Youth department, we have also delivered a special child / young bathtub and a height adjustable changing table. These were developed in accordance with the customers specific requirements.
In addition to bed rooms, we have installed furniture in operating rooms, medicine rooms, rinsing rooms, section kitchens, kitchenettes, etc. The section kitchens differ from the kitchenettes as they facilitate the heating of patients food and dishwashing etc.. Where as the kitchenettes provide more storage with top and bottom cabinets.
Surface counter colours differ for each department matching the indivdual wall colours in each area.
DNV GØDSTRUP CYTOSTATICA AND SERVICE CITY
The service city is built around the central goods reception responsible for supplying the entire DNV – Gødstrup.
For Cytostatika, we have delivered pass through cabinets with interlock to prevent cross contamination between the corridor and the department. Tall cabinets with modular sides which allows for our tray/curve solution creating a good overview of the contents stored within.
For the rest of the Service City, we have delivered kitchenettes, tall cabinets with shelves, table frames with laminate worktops and staff wardrobes.
