New North wing Rigshospitalet

INVENTORY FOR 65.200 m2

The North wing at Rigshospitalet is a 234 m long building with 8 floors and basement. We have delivered inventory to a total area of 65.200 m2 totalling 209 ward rooms (of which 196 are private rooms with bath and toilet) 20 intensive care units, 33 operating theatres, 10 recovery areas, radiology, outpatient clinics, offices, auditorium and changing areas.

We have delivered a wide range of furniture and equipment e.g. standard and special cabinets, small kitchenettes, height-adjustable tables, staff cabinets with differentiating front colours chosen for different floors. Compact laminate cabinets for wet areas and workplaces have been supplied with
ergonomically height adjustable work benches. A large number of cabinets have been supplied with trays and baskets from the known iso system also delivered by Zystm.

For the intensive care units a special functional cart was delivered designed according to the user’s requirements and in keeping with the buildings furniture asthetics.

For the burn unit we delivered special cabinets manufactured from CDF to withstand the requirements for durability in high humidity areas.

Large parking cabinets / sluice cabinets with double doors have been supplied with fire and lead protection to protect patients and staff from radiation.
