Kolding Hospital
HOSPITAL FURNITURE FOR KOLDING SYGEHUS
At Kolding Sygehus we have been a part of the renovation of building 6 and the newly-built building 9. In both buildings, we have delivered hospital ward panels, patient cabinets and tables which can be folded down to provide more space in the ward when the tables are not in use.
Fireretardant doors were supplied to cabinets located in niches to the corridors. These are often used for storage of linen and alcohol and the fire-retardant doors lower the fire risk. In addition to the wards, we have delivered inventory for kitchenettes, rinse rooms and communal rooms.
In building 6 we delivered pass-through cabinets for the operating rooms. This is an advantage as carts with operating equipment are accessible from both the operating room and the adjacent corridor. It is common practice to have 2 cabinets next to each other, one for clean and one for contaminated equipment.
In building 9 each floor was installed with a food island complete with cooling and heating surfaces for patients food distribution. In addition a curved receptionist counter was installed to the reception area.
